Claim 9
The appellants argue (brief, p. 18) that there is no
disclosure in Cain that the mold venting plug of Figures 3 and
3A could have a frustroconical body as set forth in claim 9.
We do not agree. In that regard, the frustroconical body as
set forth in claim 9 reads on the portion 32 of the plug 40
which is chamfered at a 45° angle.
For the reasons set forth above, the decision of the
examiner to reject claim 9 under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) is
affirmed.
