DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from
the rejection of claims 9-18. We affirm-in-part.
BACKGROUND
The invention at issue in this appeal relates to high-
voltage discharge lamps. High-voltage discharge lamps such as
metal halide lamps are used as headlights in vehicles. Such a
