DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the final rejection of claims 1-7, all of the pending claims.
The invention is directed to bipolar transistors. More particularly, the invention seeks to
improve the thermal stability of heterojunction bipolar transistors by placing current and power
generation regions into separate temperature zones. With reference to Figure 2, collectors of
