                            DECISION ON APPEAL                                        
        This is a decision on appeal from the examiner's final                        
        rejection of claims 15 through 23, the only claims remaining in               
        the application. Claims 1 through 14 has been cancelled.                      

        Appellants’ invention relates to a centrifugal pump                           
        effective for pumping liquids and slurries containing solid                   
        matter.  Independent claim 15 is representative of the subject
