Reference is made to the supplemental brief of January 23, 2006 (principal brief), the reply brief of May 8, 2006 (reply brief) and the answer for the respective positions of appellants and the examiner. OPINION With regard to the independent claims, the examiner applies Kemink and van Ee as follows: The examiner cites page 4, lines 28-31, of Kemink for the receipt at an Internet Web site data that (page 6, lines 10-20) functions to identify at least one of a plurality of consumer electronic devices, whereby the Web site uses the data to access a plurality of macros and configurations associated with appliances or devices for causing one of the plurality of consumer electronic devices to perform a plurality of operations when a configurable key of the remote control is actuated.
