In particular, Bainbridge discloses and depicts in Figure 9 a membrane that deforms about an item (a knee, elbow etc.). As Bainbridge discloses a mesh bag, Bainbridge discloses each and every element of claims 2 and 22. Bainbridge also discloses each element of claim 23. In particular, Bainbridge discloses a bag with elements that occupy up to 90% of the space within the membrane. Bainbridge does not disclose each and every element of claim 25 because the heat sealable material which forms the membrane is not self-adherent. Rather, the material of Bainbridges membrane must be heated before it is adherent. CONCLUSION AND ORDER The examiner’s rejection of claims 1, 5, 7 and 24 under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) as being anticipated by Alivizatos is sustained.
