Appeal 2007-0595 Application 09/822,855 1 ISSUES 2 The issues pertinent to this appeal are 3 • Whether the art applied shows converting a show rundown into broadcast 4 instructions that are executed in a step-by-step manner responsive to a 5 manual trigger from the producer in an event-driven manner (Br. 9). 6 • Whether the art applied shows transmitting commands to at least a camera, 7 and a robotic pan/tilt head (Br. 9). 8 • Whether the art applied shows populating a broadcast instructions time sheet 9 with production icons (Br. 14). 10 In particular, the Appellants contend that, as regards all claims, Trumbull does 11 not show execution in response to a manual trigger nor control of a camera (Br. 9) 12 and that, as regards claim 10, Washino does not show use of icons on the same 13 screen as a time relation image (Br. 14). 14 15 FACTS PERTINENT TO THE ISSUES 16 The following findings of fact (FF), supported by a preponderance of 17 substantial evidence, are pertinent to the above issues. 18 01. Claim 1 contains the limitation “converting said show rundown into 19 broadcast instructions that, when executed in a step-by-step manner 20 responsive to a manual trigger from the producer in an event-driven 21 manner, enable the transmitting of commands….” 22 02.
