Oregon Statutes - Chapter 329 - Oregon Educational Act for the 21st Century; Educational Improvement and Reform - Section 329.709 - Rules for grant applications.

(1) An eligible grant application must be submitted by a school district according to rules prescribed by the State Board of Education. The rules shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

(a) Except for state-operated schools, the school district in its application shall certify that its proposal has been approved by the school board and is consistent with existing district policies, rules and contracts bargained under ORS 243.650 to 243.782.

(b) The administration of grant programs under ORS 329.675 to 329.745 and 329.788 to 329.820 shall be consistent with existing district policies, rules and contracts bargained under ORS 243.650 to 243.782.

(2) Nothing in this section is intended to make grants under ORS 329.675 to 329.745 and 329.788 to 329.820 subject to collective bargaining.
