Oregon Statutes - Chapter 682 - Regulation of Ambulance Services and Emergency Medical Personnel - Section 682.212 - Application fee; examination fee.

(1) A nonrefundable initial application fee shall be submitted with the initial application for emergency medical technician and first responder certification. In addition, a nonrefundable examination fee shall be submitted for the following purposes:

(a) First responder written examination;

(b) Emergency medical technician written examination;

(c) Emergency medical technician practical examination; and

(d) A fee deemed necessary by the Department of Human Services to cover the fee charged by the national examination agency or other examination service utilized by the department for the purpose of examining candidates for emergency medical technician certification.

(2) Subject to the review of the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, the fees and charges established under this section shall not exceed the cost of administering the regulatory program of the Department of Human Services pertaining to the purpose for which the fee or charge is established, as authorized by the Legislative Assembly for the departmentís budget, as the budget may be modified by the Emergency Board.

(3) All moneys received by the department under this chapter shall be paid into the General Fund in the State Treasury and placed to the credit of the department account and such moneys hereby are appropriated continuously and shall be used only for the administration and enforcement of this chapter.
