Claims 5-12 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Taniguchi and Hill. OPINION Group I - Claims 1, 3, and 4 The Examiner finds that Taniguchi discloses the claimed invention except (Paper No. 5, page 4): Taniguchi does not disclose keeping a running sum of the output absolute values.
