On November 19, 1996, the examiner mailed an Office action making a final rejection of claims 35-74, 76-85, 87, 88, 90-107, 109, 110, and 112-144 under 35 U.S.C § 251. (Paper No. 32 at 2.) The instant appeal followed. Claim 85, which is representative for our purposes, follows: 85.
