Appeal No. 2002-0638 Application 08/932,239 the discussion at the middle of page 159 of Macintosh states that "the scroll box [the scroll bar in a conventional Windows environment] represents the relative location, in the whole document, of the portion that can be seen in the window." This suggests the representation in more than one dimension. Coupled with the two teachings at the bottom of page 2 of Wagstaff that the examiner has already pointed out relating to the ability to change the point of view of a camera window, even to the point of rotating the point of view as well as animating movement through a given scene, clearly suggests a scroll bar path as a function "in N dimensional space" to the extent broadly recited in claim 32 on appeal. It is noted that "N" is even inclusive of one dimension since the numeric value of the term is not defined in this claim.
