          Application No. 10/302,271

fixture to hold the assembly during a rework process would have
been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art based on the
          additional teachings of Kolesar.
Kolesar is directed to a method of replacing solder-held
components on a circuit board using a repair station that
includes the option of applying heat via hot air blown on the
solder. Kolesar (column 1, line 56-68) discloses prior art
methods wherein hand-held hot air blowers were employed to direct
hot air at solder joints to melt solder during a repair
operation. Moreover, Kolesar teaches using a repair station
wherein several hot air blowing devices are employed to melt
solder. One of the air blowing devices is aimed at the solder
connected leads of the electrical component to be replaced as
described at column 2, line 38 through column 3, line 5 of the
patent. Kolesar describes using fixtures (7, Fig. 1) to hold the
electrical circuit board during the rework (repair) operation.
See column 3, lines 24-37 of Kolesar. Thus, we agree with the
examiner that one of ordinary skill in the art would have readily
recognized the option and advantages of employing a fixture to
hold the electrical assembly of Sluzewski during repair
operations, as suggested by Kolesar. Indeed, Kolesar not only
teaches or suggests that employing a fixture to hold an
