Appeal No. 2006-1467 Page 9 Application No. 10/302,271 electrical circuit device aids in accomplishing the repair thereof, but also reinforces the examiner’s obviousness position with respect to employing a hot air supply device/gun for melting the solder holding the defective electrical component of Sluzewski that is to be replaced. Appellants (reply briefs, page 6 of each) seemingly argue that the fixture for holding a circuit board, as employed by Kolesar, may be inappropriate for holding a gimbal assembly as being worked on in Sluzewski. However, appellants have not substantiated that argument with persuasive evidence establishing an unobvious aspect being involved in the selection of the type of fixture to be used in supporting a head gimbal assembly. In this regard, we note that none of appealed claims 1-3 requires a particular construction for a fixture or head gimbal assembly. Nor does appellants’ specification relate any particular fixture specifications, much less any problems solved in using or selecting an appropriate fixture for holding a gimbal assembly during repair operations. Appellants contend that the hot air supplying nozzle arrangement of Kirkland would not teach or suggest the use of a hot air gun directed at the solder ball, as claimed.
