Appeal 2007-1914 Application 10/378,641 STATEMENT OF THE CASE The Appellant seeks our review under 35 U.S.C. § 134 of the final rejection of claims 1, 2, 15-17, 23-28, 30, 31, 33-41, 43-52, 54-58, 61, 62, 65, 66, 70-73, 75-77, 79, and 81-92.1 We have jurisdiction under 35 U.S.C. § 6(b) (2002). SUMMARY OF DECISION We AFFIRM-IN-PART. THE INVENTION The Appellant’s invention is to a link assembly for a vehicle suspension system (Specification 1:6-7). Claims 1 and 81, reproduced below, are representative of the subject matter on appeal. 1. A link assembly for a vehicle suspension system comprising: a) a stud shaft provided with a threaded section and a torque transmitter; b) a first and a second sleeve nut threaded onto the stud shaft; and c) a grommet seated on each of the sleeve nuts to form first and second sleeve nut and grommet sub-assemblies. 1 The Examiner withdrew rejections of claim 78 under 35 U.S.C. § 112, first paragraph, claims 1, 18, 22, 69, and 83 under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) as anticipated by Borst, claims 21, 58, 59, 67, and 68 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as unpatentable over Borst, and claims 1, 2, and 18-20 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as unpatentable over Nickerson and Schwartz (Answer 2-3). As such, claims 18-22, 59, 67-69, and 78 have no outstanding rejections.
