However, from the use of the transitional phrase "comprising," we find that the open-ended language of the claim does not require that the image be displayed exactly as it was received, i.e., as is. For example, if an image were received in color but displayed on a black and white screen, the received image is still being displayed. From our review of Furuya, we find that communication means 101 includes a beacon receiver and an antenna connected to the receiver (col. 3, lines 2-5). The display system further includes a processor 7 for controlling road map images. The processor includes graphic display controller 71 which is connected to display 1 (col. 3, lines 17-24). As shown in figure 2, selector switch 2 allows the user to select one of two operational modes (col. 2, lines 48-63). In the first, or normal mode, all roads around the vehicle are displayed, and conditions of traffic congestion are not displayed. In the second, a congestion display mode, only monitored roads are displayed with stepwise graphic gradation indicating degrees of congestion (col. 2, lines 49-57).
