Soudant’s compositions may include one or more lipolytic agents selected from a group including xanthines and carnitine (Soudant, col. 2, l. 27-42). Koulbanis teaches the topical application of multicomponent cosmetic compositions having slimming and anti-cellulitis action including at least one xanthine. Xanthines selected from theophylline, caffeine and theobromine are thought by Koulbanis to erase local accumulation of fat by increasing lipolytic action and thus be useful for treating skin with rolls of fat and cellulitis (Koulbanis, cols. 3, l. 47-51). Sekiya teaches percutaneous (Sekiya, col. 2, l. 1-3 and 49 (application onto skin)) or oral administration of multicomponent compositions (Sekiya, col. 1, l. 55-59) including at least one isoflavone which is said to promote fat-degradation and weight reduction (Sekiya, cols. 1-2).
