              to provide different colors to indicate different current levels being applied to      
              the patient.                                                                           


                                 CONCLUSIONS OF LAW (ISSUE IV)                                       
              The rejection of claims 13, 14, and 19 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) is sustained.          


                                              DECISION                                               
               The decision of the Examiner to reject claims 36-52 under 35 U.S.C. § 112             
           (first paragraph) is affirmed.  The decision of the Examiner to reject claims 1-8,        
           10-12, 15-18, 20, 21, 23-25, 28-31, and 33 under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) is affirmed.          
           The decision of the Examiner to reject claims 20 and 23-28 under 35 U.S.C.                
           § 103(a) is reversed.  The decision of the Examiner to reject claims 13, 14, and 19       
           under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) is affirmed.  The decision of the Examiner to reject claim       
           35 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) is affirmed.                                                  
               No time period for taking any subsequent action in connection with this appeal        
           may be extended under 37 CFR § 1.136(a)(1)(iv).
