- 11 - On June 30, 1993, the District Court gave Mr. London the following sentence for all of the offenses on which he was convicted: The defendant is hereby committed to the custody of the United States Bureau of Prisons to be imprisoned for a term of 188 months on counts 1 & 2, 5-16, 44, 45 & 47 to be served concurrently with each other; 96 months on counts 17, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 29, 32, 34, 35, 37 & 40 to be served concurrently with each other and with counts 1 & 2; 48 months on count 51, to be served concurrently with counts 1 & 2. The defendant is remanded to the custody of the United States marshal. The District Court fined him $500,000 on counts 5 through 16 for money laundering. On the same day, the District Court also entered an Order of Forfeiture under which it gave the United States title to an additional $865,000 which Mr. London had agreed to forfeit. The District Court entered judgment against Mr. London for his criminal offenses on July 7, 1993. This judgment was affirmed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, United States v.
