Appeal No. 97-1037 Application 08/467,869 DECISION ON APPEAL This is an appeal from the final rejection of claims 1 through 5, all of the claims in the application. Appellant’s invention pertains to a vibration-and-noise damping insert for the brakes of automotive vehicles and to a method of producing a material web for the manufacture of vehicle brake vibration-and-sound damping inserts. An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claims 1 and 4, copies of which appear in the appendix to appellant’s main brief (Paper No. 20).
