(a) alkyl of 1 to 6 carbons,

5. Insofar as we have been able to determine,
applicants' specification does not describe any particular
advantage of the claimed process vis-à-vis prior art processes
described in the specification (e.g., those at page 2, line 1
through page 3, line 14).
