The only furniture Mr. Wilcox saw in the main living areas was a kitchen table.18 On September 18, 1989, a bill was prepared reflecting the work performed on the chimney and roof, with a balance due of $767. This bill was sent to Mr. Bowers at TAI's address in Florida. A second notice was sent on October 18, 1989. On November 3, 1989, Mr. Wilcox returned to the Burlington house to apply silicon to the chimney.
